eggs over easy

My goals and intentions in this artwork were to bring out the bright colors in the eggs and really make them pop. I accomplished this by finding a color that matched the original eggs and cup and then worked in the rule of 3. What surprised me most was how fun it is to work with color and how we were all able to pick up this new medium fairly easily. The most difficult challenge I had to face was getting the shadow and the highlights right. I over came this by mapping out the darkest and lightest parts before I ever even added color.
